Strong Start, Steady Finish Lands Top-Four-Percent Marathon Finish Randy Shaw crossed the line in 3:29:50, good for 106th overall and 94th among men in a field of 3,305 at the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon. Shaw's opening 11 miles were the highlight, holding between 7:17 and 7:45 per mile and building a strong cushion before the course's demands began to show. A rough patch arrived around mile 12, where his pace briefly jumped to 9:19, before settling back into a 7:498:01 rhythm through mile 20. The stretch from miles 21 to 24 cooled further, bottoming out at 9:57 for mile 24 a span that included the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 22.5 but Shaw answered with a strong close, dropping to 7:39 for his final mile and finishing with more life than he showed in the middle miles.
