Strong Pace Through Halfway, Steady Push to a Top Finish Madi Brown finished the marathon in 3:32:47, placing 123rd overall and 15th among women in a field of 3,305 good for 2nd in the F 30-34 division. Her race built off a controlled early pace, holding between 7:47 and 8:10 per mile through the first 13 miles, before a gradual rise in per-mile times over the closing 10K. Miles 9 through 13 stood out as her most efficient stretch, holding sub-8:00 pace across five consecutive miles and climbing into the top ten in her division along the way. The final miles eased toward 8:30-9:00 pace, a natural adjustment given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, but her overall pace held at 8:07 per mile for the full 26.2 miles.
