Marathon Time Cut by Over an Hour Megan Connelly finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:00:39, a substantial jump from her 5:13:31 finish at the 2024 Boulderthon Marathon more than an hour faster this time out. Her pace was steady through the first two-thirds of the race before easing gradually over the closing miles, settling to a 9:11/mile average by the finish. Connelly's standout stretch came over the first 15 miles, where she held between 8:26 and 9:04 per mile, reaching the 15-mile mark in 2:12:03 for an 8:48/mile average. That consistency built a strong foundation before the pace eased through the later miles, a solid showing given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet.
