Steady Pace Through 18 Miles Fuels Strong Boulderthon Marathon Finish Spencer Peck finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:32:57, placing 124th overall and 108th among men in a field of 3,305. Peck ran a very consistent race through the first 18 miles, holding between 7:28 and 7:34 elapsed pace, with a strong mile 14 to 18 stretch that included a 7:08 split at mile 15. His pace eased over the closing miles, settling to an 8:06 elapsed pace by the finish, with mile 22 through 24 running slower as he passed the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 22.5. The marathon course, which runs out past Boulder Reservoir before finishing on the Pearl Street Mall, saw its net elevation gain cut about 40 percent this year, a notable factor given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet.
