Fourth Straight Year, Fastest Finish Yet Simon Brown ran 3:16:23 at the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon, placing 43rd overall and 37th among men in a field of 3,305. It's his best Boulderthon marathon result yet, improving on 2023's 4:00:22, 2024's 3:36:28, and last year's 3:20:54 a steady year-over-year climb in performance. His race stayed remarkably even through the middle miles, holding between 7:10 and 7:20 per mile from mile 2 through mile 19. The strongest stretch came from miles 4 through 11, averaging 7:04 per mile. Things loosened slightly near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 22.5, with his mile 22 split slowing to 8:30, before he tightened back up over the closing miles, running 7:48 and 7:37 on the way to the finish on the Pearl Street Mall.
