Strong Front Half Fuels a Top-10% Marathon Finish Hayden Soderberg crossed the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon finish in 3:51:00, placing 250th overall and 205th among men in a field of 3,305. He built a steady sub-8:00 pace through the first 20 miles, holding between 7:33 and 8:49 per mile, before the closing 10K slowed to the 10:0012:51 range as the effort caught up with him. Mile 11 was his fastest full mile, clocked at 7:21, part of a strong middle stretch that kept him inside 8:00 pace through mile 20. That fade began near mile 21, just past the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 22.5, as the marathon course wound through Boulder County backroads past the reservoir before finishing on the Pearl Street Mall all run at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet.
