Steady Pace Carries Him Into the Top Two Percent Jimmy Weseman finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:22:41, placing 63rd overall and 55th among men in a field of 3,305. He built momentum through the middle miles, dropping from 7:52 pace at mile 5 to a race-best split of 7:15 at mile 11, then held in the mid-7:30s through mile 21. Miles 22-24 slowed into the 8:20-8:30 range before he closed with a strong 7:58 final mile, finishing with an overall pace of 7:44 per mile. His fastest sustained stretch came between miles 10 and 13, where he averaged roughly 7:22 per mile, the quickest three-mile stretch of his race. That surge came shortly before the course passed the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 22.5, after which his pace eased slightly through the final miles before rallying to the finish on the Pearl Street Mall.
