Strong Early Pace Carries Steady Marathon Run to a Top-Tier Finish Tianxiang Lan finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:50:23, placing 241st overall and 196th among men out of a field of 3,305. His race built steadily through the first half, tightening from an 8:50 opening mile to a strong 7:32 split at mile 11, with cumulative pace dropping to 8:20 min/mile by that point. Miles 9 through 17 were his most consistent stretch, holding between 7:54 and 8:15 min/mile as his overall pace touched its lowest mark of 8:17 min/mile.
