Fast Early Pace Anchors a Strong Overall Finish Caden Greig completed the 2026 Boulderthon marathon in 3:48:09, placing 225th overall and 185th among men in a field of 3,305. That mark is well ahead of his 2024 finish of 4:05:07, though a touch off his 2025 time of 3:43:28. Greig ran the first 20 miles with real consistency, holding roughly 7:407:50 per mile and touching a swift 7:18 at mile 11. That effort had him inside the race's top 150 overall through mile 20 before miles 2125 slowed considerably, pulling his overall pace back to 8:40. He closed strong over the final mile, crossing onto the Pearl Street Mall after racing out past Boulder Reservoir and the county backroads at over 5,000 feet of altitude.
