Strong Early Speed Fuels a Podium-Range Finish Katherine Jamboretz finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:41:47, placing 171st overall and 24th among women in a field of 3,305 and third in the F30-34 division. Her race opened fast: the first six miles clicked by at a 6:54 min/mile pace, a segment that stands as her strongest sustained stretch of the day. From there, her cumulative pace steadily eased, moving from 7:00 min/mile at mile 7 to 8:27 min/mile by the finish as the back half of the course took its toll. That early speed, banked at over 5,000 feet of elevation in Boulder, gave her enough cushion to hold a top age-group finish despite the later slowdown.
