Strong Early Pace Carries Through a Tough Late Stretch Megan Dodrill finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:01:57, holding an 8:098:56 min/mile pace through the first 18 miles. Her fastest mile-plus stretch came from miles 10-11, splitting 7:58, part of a broader run of sub-8:40 miles that carried her to the halfway point in strong position. After mile 19, her per-mile pace eased into the 10:00-12:00 range as she worked through the closing miles, finishing with steady effort into downtown Boulder's Pearl Street Mall. Running the back roads and reservoir stretch of the course at over 5,000 feet of altitude, Dodrill's opening 18 miles reflect well-managed early pacing.
