Steady Early Rhythm Carries a Strong Marathon Middle Gelek Namgyal finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:03:59, an overall pace of 9:18 per mile. He opened quickly, covering the first two miles in 15:02, then settled into a consistent 8:008:30 per mile rhythm through the middle of the race, reaching the half in 1:48:38. His strongest sustained stretch came from miles 4 through 11, averaging 8:22 per mile, before the pace gradually eased over the second half. The closing miles brought him past Boulder's lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 22.5, where his split slowed to 11:09 as the late-race fade continued before a rebound to 10:38 by mile 24.
