Her race opened fast the first five miles clicked off between 7:08 and 7:16 per mile before settling into a steadier middle stretch through mile 17 near 7:50-8:00 pace. The closing miles slowed into the 9:00-11:00 range, though she found another gear over the final three miles, tightening back to 9:29-9:37 pace to close out the course. That opening five-mile stretch stands as the fastest sustained running of her day, a strong foundation for the effort that followed. Miles 22 and 23, run near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 22.5, came in among her toughest of the race a natural spot to lean on the crowd energy next time through Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet.
