Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Nick Weidman #13469 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Marathon Distance: 26.2 miles

Steady Pace Carries Him Into the Top 10% Nick Weidman completed the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 3:56:23, finishing 323rd overall and 258th among men in a field of 3,305. The result follows his 2023 Boulderthon Half Marathon finish in 1:41:05, marking a step up to the full 26.2-mile distance this time out. Weidman opened strong, covering the first five miles between 8:13 and 8:36 per mile, his fastest stretch of the day. A rough sixth mile briefly slowed his cumulative pace, but he settled into a consistent rhythm through the middle and late miles, holding close to 9:00 per mile the rest of the way and closing with a 9:06 final mile. That composure paid off on a marathon course reshaped for 2026, its net elevation gain trimmed by about 40 percent, before the finish on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
