Strong Early Pace Fades Late in Marathon Debut Brody Jenkins finished the 2026 Boulderthon Marathon in 4:20:04, placing 517th among men and 29th in the men's 15-19 division. His race shaped up in two distinct halves. Jenkins ran his fastest stretch between miles 4 and 11, covering that 8-mile segment in 1:00:01, an average pace of 7:30 per mile, and holding a top-200 overall position through the middle miles. From mile 12 onward pace slipped steadily, with the largest drop-offs coming late miles 24 and 25 each took over 16 minutes. That fade began near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 22.5, where his per-mile pace had already climbed into the 9-minute range. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, the early pace through the middle miles stands out as the highlight of his marathon effort.
