Strong Early Pace Carries Steady Marathon Effort Alessandra Conci finished her marathon in 4:06:11, averaging 9:23 per mile across the 26.2-mile course at over 5,000 feet in Boulder. Her race showed a clear two-part shape: through the first 18 miles she held between 8:46 and 9:31 per mile, with her fastest ten-mile stretch coming from miles 110 at just under 8:53 per mile. Miles 19 through 25 brought a steady step down to the 10:0010:34 range, including her approach to the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 22.5, where she logged her slowest mile of the day at 10:34. She responded well in the final mile, dropping back to 9:43 to close out the race on the Pearl Street Mall.
