Steady Pacing Gives Way to a Strong Closing Kick Amy Colby finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:44:05, a step back from her 1:38:18 finish in the 2025 race. Her early and middle miles held remarkably steady, clicking off between 7:47 and 7:56 through the first ten miles. A dip came at mile 11, where her split slowed to 8:22, but she answered immediately, dropping to 7:48 in mile 12 and then 7:34 in her final mile her fastest mile of the race and a strong closing note to the effort. That final surge came as she passed through downtown Boulder toward the finish on the Pearl Street Mall, a fitting cap to a well-managed pacing profile. Earlier, near mile 9.5, she would have passed the lululemon Power-Up Zone, right around where her pace briefly eased before she rallied late.
