Her race unfolded with a fast startcovering the opening two miles in roughly 8:09 pacebefore settling into a consistent rhythm through the middle miles, holding an 8:20-8:30 pace band. A brief dip near mile 11 (9:08) was followed by a strong rebound, closing the final mile in 8:09, one of her fastest of the day. Running at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Bowling maintained composure across the distance, closing well after the mid-race fluctuation. Her opening two-mile stretch stood out as the race's most efficient segment, an encouraging sign of a well-controlled start.
