Strong Finishing Kick Powers a Top-10% Result Cecilia Quinones ran 1:46:00 in the half marathon, finishing 582nd overall and 149th among women out of a field of 7,223 a result inside the top 10 percent. That marks a big step up from her 2025 Boulderthon marathon, where she posted 4:10:36 at a 9:33 pace; this year's 8:05 pace was noticeably faster. Her race built steadily rather than fading. After holding close to 8:15-8:20 pace through the first nine miles, she surged over the closing four, covering miles 10 through 13 in roughly 7:38 pace her strongest stretch of the day, including a 7:13 final mile. That closing push, run at Boulder's altitude above 5,000 feet, moved her from outside the top 500 at mile 9 to inside the top 450 by the finish on the Pearl Street Mall.
