Steady Pacing Delivers Bill's Fastest Boulderthon Half Yet Bill Nonneman crossed the line in 1:48:15, finishing 680th overall and 503rd among men in the field of 7,223. That's his quickest Boulderthon half marathon result, improving on 1:51:05 in 2023, 1:52:56 in 2024, and 1:55:44 in 2025. His mile splits stayed tight, mostly between 8:00 and 8:40, with miles 4 through 6 his best stretch averaging 8:04 per mile as he clicked off 8:08, 8:10, and 7:56 splits. A brief dip through miles 7 and 8 (8:37, 8:42) was quickly corrected, closing with three of his last four miles under 8:10. He passed roughly the halfway point near where this year's redesigned course trimmed net elevation gain by nearly half, from 384 to 203 feet a change that suited his consistent effort through Boulder's altitude.
