Steady Pace Through the Opening Miles Gives Way to a Tougher Closing Stretch Carmina Salgado completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:32:27. Her first mile was her quickest at 12:58, and she held a consistent pace through mile three, with elapsed pace sitting at 13:53. Miles four through five settled into a steady 14:14-15 rhythm before the final mile slowed to 17:57, the race's toughest stretch for her. Salgado's 10K wound through downtown Boulder before finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall, a course run at over 5,000 feet of elevation.
