Strong Start Anchors a Steady Half Marathon Finish Jaylynn Ridlen finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:51:48, a slightly slower result than her 2025 Boulderthon half marathon time of 1:45:50. Her opening mile came in at 7:45, and she held sub-8:00 pace through mile 5, reaching the 5-mile mark in 39:43. From there the pace eased gradually, settling into the 8:50-9:25 range for the middle miles, before tightening back up over the closing stretch, with mile 12 clocking 8:18 and mile 13 at 8:23. The first 5 miles stood out as her fastest sustained stretch, averaging under 8:00 per mile despite Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet. Closing the final two miles faster than the middle section suggests good composure late in the race.
