Steady Climber Finds His Rhythm at Altitude Alejandro Baray finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:47:54, holding a consistent pace across the field of 7,223 in a race run above 5,000 feet. His splits show a well-managed effort: early miles settled between 8:15 and 8:27, before he found his strongest form from miles 6 through 10, covering that stretch in just over 40 minutes for roughly an 8:03 pace, the fastest of his race. That surge carried him past the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5. The final three miles eased slightly, with a small dip to 8:39 in mile 11 before he closed with an 8:08 and 8:28 to the finish. A slightly more even final third could help him carry that mid-race strength all the way home next time.
