Steady Pace Holds Firm Late in the Field Eric Bruynseels crossed in 1:37:33, placing 281st overall and 229th among men out of the field of 7,223. That mirrors his 2025 Boulderthon half marathon finish of 1:37:16, essentially matching last year's result to the second. The race unfolded evenly through the first eight miles, holding between 7:18 and 7:33 pace, before a jump to 8:58 at mile nine a stretch that runs near the lululemon Power-Up Zone, positioned around mile 9.5 of the half. He answered with his strongest running of the day over the closing miles, covering 11 through 13 at roughly 6:53 pace per mile, finishing faster than he started. A slight tightening of that mid-race dip could sharpen the overall arc next time out.
