Steady Pace, Strong Finish Through Downtown Boulder Ivy Franks completed the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 2:21:43, holding a consistent pace across the field of 7,223 entrants at an event run at altitude above 5,000 feet. Her mile splits stayed in the 10:4011:15 range for most of the race, showing little variation mile to mile. The pace sharpened after mile 9, dropping to 10:22 for mile 10 not coincidentally near the lululemon Power-Up Zone at roughly mile 9.5 before closing with her fastest mile of the day, a 10:17 thirteenth mile into the Pearl Street Mall. That late surge, after over two hours of even effort, points to strong finishing strength worth building on for future negative-split racing.
