Steady Start Fades Late in 10K Effort Arun Prasanna Rengasamy finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 59:49. That's a bit slower than his 57:14 from the 2025 race, with elapsed pace slipping from 9:13 to 9:38 min/mile. The first two miles were his strongest, clicking off in 9:07 and 8:55 as he settled into rhythm. From there, pace gradually eased through miles three and four before a tougher close, with the final mile slowing to 10:57. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, holding sub-9:15 pace through the opening two miles stands out as the highlight of the race. A touch more even pacing over the back half could help him close closer to his early speed next time.
