She ran a steady, controlled race, holding between 7:40 and 7:57 per mile through the middle miles before accelerating over the closing stretch. Her pacing held remarkably even across the first ten miles, hovering around a 7:44-7:45 cumulative pace with minimal drift. The standout stretch came in miles 12 and 13, where she dropped to 7:27 and 7:21, respectively her fastest sustained running of the race closing strong rather than fading. That finishing surge, achieved above 5,000 feet of altitude in Boulder, capped a well-executed, evenly-paced effort from start to finish.
