Fast Start Fuels a Gritty Finish Jaycey Cutrer completed the half marathon in 2:16:21, an overall pace of 10:24 per mile. Her race opened strong, with the first six miles clicking off between 9:12 and 9:57, building a solid cumulative pace under 9:30 through the midpoint. Miles seven through eleven brought a tougher middle stretch, with per-mile splits climbing into the 10:3112:57 range before Cutrer found her rhythm again. The closing miles were the standout of the day: miles twelve and thirteen dropped back to 9:35 and 9:41, a strong finishing kick that pulled her overall pace back down after the midrace dip. That final surge carried her into the historic finish on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting close to a race run above 5,000 feet of elevation.
