Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Alex Wozniak #26231 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Steady Pace Through the Front Half Anchors a Solid Finish Alex Wozniak completed the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 2:24:45, averaging 11:02 per mile across the 13.1-mile course. The race unfolded as a gradual settling: Wozniak opened with a strong five-mile stretch, covering that ground in 53:12 for a 10:38 average pace, the fastest sustained segment of the day. From there, the pace eased mile by mile, drifting from the low 10:40s into the 11:00s before finishing with a 11:06 mile to close things out. That early consistency through the first five miles was the clear highlight, showing a well-controlled effort before the natural fade over the back half. Racing at over 5,000 feet of elevation, Wozniak crossed the finish line on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, capping a steady, well-managed run.
