Her mile splits held steady in the 8:158:30 range through the middle of the race before tightening notably over the final stretch. Miles 11 through 13 were her fastest of the day, dropping to 7:46 by the last full mile, a strong closing kick that pulled her overall time down after a brief dip near mile 8.
