A Resilient Finish After a Mid-Race Dip Tori Martinez completed the half marathon in 3:05:31. Her pace fluctuated across the course a strong opening mile at 11:26 gave way to a slower third mile of 15:50, before she steadied through the middle miles. A rough patch appeared late, with mile 11 slowing to 21:06, but she rallied to close out the final two miles at a combined pace under 14 minutes per mile, finishing with a solid final surge. Her fastest full-mile stretch came at mile 10, clocking 11:45, a strong rebound after a sluggish ninth mile. Running at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Martinez joined the field finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting capstone to a race marked by shifting rhythm and a determined final push.
