Strong Start Fuels a Half Marathon Finish Anthony Lee finished the Half Marathon at the 2026 Boulderthon in 2:18:42. Through the first seven miles, Lee held a steady 8:168:37 mile pace, reaching the 7-mile mark in 58:40. From mile 8 onward, his per-mile times gradually lengthened, with the 12th mile at 15:57 and the closing mile at 20:15, bringing his overall elapsed pace to 10:35 per mile. That opening stretch through mile 7 stands as the strongest sustained running of the day, holding sub-8:30 pace at over 5,000 feet of elevation before the second half slowed. Given that early rhythm, targeting a more even effort across the back half could be a useful focus for his next race.
