Strong Start Carries Through a Steady Half-Marathon Effort Taylor Meagher finished the Boulderthon Half Marathon in 3:38:03. Her race opened fast, with the first two miles clicked off in 13:03 and 12:59, before a sharp slowdown in mile three brought her overall pace back toward 15:31. From there, her cumulative pace drifted gradually outward, settling near 16:38 by the finish as the middle and closing miles lengthened in effort. Her fastest sustained stretch came in those opening two miles, a pace well ahead of the rest of her race and a strong early rhythm to build from. Boulders elevation, over 5,000 feet, adds context to the overall effort here, even as the early pace showed what shes capable of on this course.
