Steady Splits Give Way to a Strong Closing Kick Chelsea Lee finished the half marathon in 1:31:59, averaging 7:01 per mile, placing 165th overall and 27th among women in a field of 7,223. Lee's race opened briskly, holding between 6:36 and 6:50 per mile through the first six miles before easing into the mid-7:00s from miles 7 through 11 a stretch that included the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5, where her pace sat around 7:28-7:30. She answered with a strong rebound, dropping to 7:00 in mile 12 and closing with a 6:27 final mile, the fastest of her race, to bring it home on the Pearl Street Mall. A solid, well-paced effort at over 5,000 feet of elevation, with the early miles standing out as her strongest stretch of the day.
