Steady Pacing Delivers a Faster Half and a Top-1% Finish Blake Graf crossed in 1:24:41, placing 77th overall and 67th among men in a field of 7,223. That's nearly a minute faster than his 2024 Boulderthon half marathon time of 1:25:40, when he finished 48th overall in a smaller field. Graf's race stayed remarkably consistent, with his cumulative pace never straying outside 6:15-6:29 per mile through all 13 miles. After a quick opening mile at 6:15, he settled into a rhythm in the mid-6:20s before closing strong. His best mile came late, a 6:11 split at mile 12, the fastest full mile of his race. That surge came just past the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5, showing strength deep into the second half. He finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting cap to a well-managed effort.
