Steady Early Pace Gives Way to a Strong Closing Kick Isabel Cullen finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 2:23:32, a shade slower than her 2:18:29 from last year's race. Her opening seven miles were remarkably even, holding between 10:22 and 10:37 per mile, before the middle stretch loosened to an 11:56 mile 10 and a 12:09 mile 11. She answered with a strong finish, dropping back to 11:23 and 11:08 over the final two miles to close out the race. That opening seven-mile stretch, run at altitude in a city sitting above 5,000 feet, was the most consistent segment of her day. She passed through the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 9.5 just as her pace began to loosen, but she recovered well down the stretch toward the Pearl Street Mall finish.
