Strong Start Holds Steady Through the Finish Samantha Cordasco finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:52:30, averaging 8:35 min/mile. Cordasco opened fast, clicking off the first two miles at 8:08 and 8:01, then held between 8:07 and 8:24 through mile six. Miles seven and eight brought the race's slower stretch, 9:03 and 9:14, before she settled back into a consistent 8:43-8:45 rhythm from mile ten to the finish. That closing five-mile stretch, run at a steady clip after the mid-race dip, showed solid control late in the half. The race finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a city sitting at over 5,000 feet of elevation.
