That closing surge, miles 12 and 13 combined at roughly 7:28 per mile, stood out as the fastest sustained stretch of her race. She crossed the finish line on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting cap to a race run above 5,000 feet of elevation.
