Strong Finish Fuels Top-10% Half Marathon Run Colin Nolan-Cherry finished the half marathon in 1:47:20, an 8:11 min/mile pace, placing 630th overall and 466th among men out of the field of 7,223. Nolan-Cherry opened with a brisk 7:36 first mile before settling into a steady 8:10-8:44 rhythm through the middle miles, a range he held at over 5,000 feet of elevation in downtown Boulder. He closed strong, covering miles 12 and 13 in 7:40 and 7:49, the race's fastest sustained stretch, to push his cumulative pace back under 8:12 by the finish.
