Steady Early Miles Anchor a Solid Half Brittney Bourne finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:52:43, an 8:36 min/mile average pace. Her race opened strong, with the first four miles ticking off between 8:21 and 8:23 the most consistent stretch of her day. From there, the pace eased slightly through the middle miles, dipping to 9:07 at mile 8 before rebounding to 8:26 at mile 10. A tougher mile 11 (9:13) preceded a firm close, with miles 12 and 13 both at 8:38 to bring her home. Running at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Bourne passed through the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5, right around where her pace began to recover after the race's slower middle section a good sign of steady management through the back half.
