Strong Start Fuels a Steady Half Marathon Finish Walter Bryant completed the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 2:25:27. He opened with a swift first mile at 9:19, holding sub-9:20 pace through mile two before easing gradually across the middle miles, settling near 10:30-13:00 per mile from miles six through thirteen. Bryant's first 5K was his fastest stretch of the race, clicking off three miles in the 9:17-9:56 range before the pace lengthened over the back half. He finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a city sitting above 5,000 feet of elevation a fitting stage for his closing miles.
