Early Speed Anchors a Top-Tier Half Marathon Lindsay Harenberg finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:38:46, placing 313th overall and 57th among women in a field of 7,223, good for third in the F 15-19 division. Her race showed a clear two-phase shape: a fast opening through 6.7 miles near 6:40 pace, followed by a settled cruise in the 8:05-8:26 range per mile through the finish. That opening mile, a brisk 6:19, stood as her fastest stretch of the day and built an early cushion that carried her through the second half. Her race closed on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a finish shared across every distance at an event held above 5,000 feet of elevation. Given the strength of her first four miles, she might consider spreading that early effort more evenly across the back half in future races.
