Glushko's race showed a clear two-phase shape: he covered the first six miles in 48:00, averaging 8:00 min/mile, before settling into a steadier 9:00-9:48 min/mile rhythm over the back half. That opening six-mile stretch stands as his fastest of the day. His pace through mile 9 aligned with his approach to the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5, a section he handled at 8:31 min/mile before easing slightly through the final miles into downtown Boulder's Pearl Street Mall finish. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Glushko's early pace management set up a well-controlled finish overall.
