Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Jamie Coleman #21281 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Strong Even Effort Delivers a Big Personal Jump Jamie Coleman crossed in 1:48:30, finishing 691st overall and 181st among women in a field of 7,223 a full ten minutes faster than her 2025 Boulderthon half, when she ran 1:58:30. That improvement carried through nearly every mile, with her overall placement climbing from over 1,500th a year ago into the race's top tier this time. The race's early stretch stood out: miles 1 through 6 clicked by at roughly 7:42 per mile, her fastest sustained running of the half. A dip followed between miles 7 and 9, slowing into the 9:00s, before she steadied again over the closing miles to bring it home. Finishing on the Pearl Street Mall after racing at altitude above 5,000 feet, Jamie might look at smoothing that middle stretch as the next step toward an even more consistent pace.
