Steady Pace Powers Strong Half Marathon Finish Russell Fox finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:33:42, placing 196th overall and 161st among men in a field of 7,223. After opening with a 7:30 first mile, Fox settled into a tight rhythm, holding between 6:57 and 7:14 per mile for the rest of the race. His strongest stretch came from miles two through six, where he ran consistently under 7:10 pace, including his fastest mile of the day, a 6:57 split at mile six. He carried that same control through the closing miles before finishing on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a well-executed run at Boulder's altitude above 5,000 feet.
