Steady Early Pace Sets Up Strong Finish Jesse Wolfe completed the Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:52:48, averaging 8:36 per mile. His race split into two clear phases: a tightly controlled opening six miles, each between 8:18 and 8:30, followed by a softer middle stretch from miles 7 through 11 where pace eased into the 8:459:11 range. He answered with a strong 8:19 twelfth mile before closing out the final stretch. The first six miles, averaging roughly 8:22 per mile, stood as the most consistent stretch of the race, showing well-managed early pacing. That effort came at Boulder's altitude above 5,000 feet, a notable backdrop for holding sub-8:30 miles early on. Wolfe carried the race to its finish on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
