Steady Early Pace Cools Over Boulder's Back Half Aniela Meyer completed the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 2:32:08, covering the 13.1-mile course through downtown Boulder and out toward Boulder County backroads before finishing on the Pearl Street Mall. Her race built momentum early: by mile 6, cumulative pace had tightened to 10:19 per mile, anchored by miles 1 through 6 averaging that same brisk clip the strongest stretch of her day. From there, pace eased through the second half, with a couple of slower miles pulling her overall average to 11:36 per mile by the finish. Mile 9 fell near the lululemon Power-Up Zone, positioned around mile 9.5 of the half marathon course. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, the early pacing stands out as a well-managed opening effort worth building on for future starts at altitude.
