Delis opened steadily, holding 7:29-7:37 pace through the first six miles before easing to the 7:53-8:05 range from miles seven through nine. He rallied over the closing miles, covering miles 12 and 13 at a combined 7:15 pace to finish strong. That late surge came on a course reshaped for 2026, with the half marathon's net elevation gain cut nearly in half to 203 feet, a fitting backdrop for his fastest sustained stretch of the race.
