Steady Miles Early, Tough Stretch Late in Half Marathon Debut Lola Feilke, 21, of Boulder, CO, finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 2:53:23. Her opening miles were her strongest work: she covered the first six miles in under 1:14, holding a pace between 11:52 and 12:41 per mile, a consistent rhythm through downtown Boulder's early stretch. That pace held firm through mile nine before miles 10 and 11 slowed considerably, adding over ten minutes to her per-mile pace during that stretch before she closed with a strong 12:05 final mile. Feilke's race took her out toward Boulder County's backroads before returning to finish on the Pearl Street Mall, a course that offered a real test of endurance at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet. Her final mile, run at a pace faster than her race average, showed a strong closing kick after the mid-race dip.
