The middle miles cooled, with pace easing past 9:00/mile through miles seven to eleven, a stretch that carried her near the lululemon Power-Up Zone around mile 9.5. She closed strong, dropping back to 8:29 and 8:27 over the final two miles to secure her finish. Racing at Boulder's altitude above 5,000 feet, her early pace and closing rally both stand out as strengths to build from.
